US Regional Awards: Eligible Institutions
Nominations for the 2026 Blavatnik Regional Awards for Young Scientists are now closed. The next nomination cycle will re-open in Fall 2026. Please reach out to blavatnikregionalawards@nyas.org with any questions or see our Important Dates page for timeline information.
Eligible Institutions
The list of eligible institutions is composed of over 75 institutions based in the tri-state region (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). They include degree-granting universities, private research institutes, academic medical centers, and national government laboratories. Each institution may submit up to fifteen nominations per year across the three disciplinary categories: Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences & Engineering.
If your institution is located in the tri-state region and does not appear on our list and would like to nominate, please submit a brief statement of interest to blavatnikregionalawards@nyas.org.
