Seeking High School Student Volunteers for 2017 Blavatnik National Awards for Young Scientists Ceremony and Celebration

The fourth annual Blavatnik National Awards for Young Scientists Ceremony and Celebration to honor the 2017 Blavatnik National Laureates and the top Finalists in the categories of life sciences, physical sciences and engineering, and chemistry will be held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Monday, September 25, 2017, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Student Volunteer Opportunity

As part of the celebration plans for the evening, we are seeking high school students interested in participating as flag holders and docents during the ceremony, taking part in the honoree processional and guiding guests from one space to another in the Museum. This is a rare and exclusive opportunity for high school students who are enthusiastic about science to learn about and meet some of the most innovative young professional scientists in the country and to experience an event dedicated to celebrating scientific accomplishment. Volunteers will be acknowledged in the event program, have their picture taken with the Blavatnik Awards honorees, and will be featured on the Blavatnik Awards website.
